OCSM is committed to launching three rugby teams in the United States in 2027, backed by our university partners. We see a clear opportunity to build a rewarding experience for international rugby players combining education and sport.
Our focus is the whole environment: a competitive rugby programme, purposeful player development and support for athletes and families as they explore U.S. study options. Specific universities, team locations, costs and entry requirements will be shared when confirmed.
Our longer-term ambition is to grow toward a league of our own. That is an ambition for the future, not a league already operating or a promise of a particular competition schedule.
Rugby opportunities vary by university and programme. Academic admission, available funding and team selection each need to be assessed individually. We will publish practical updates as the 2027 plans progress.
