Full Management
Every student-athlete is different. Age, academic level, athletic ability, and grade all shape the journey we design. We work closely with each family to build a clear roadmap, from their unique starting point to their end goal, on and off their chosen field of sport. With high school, university, and graduate-level planning, we make sure there are strong options at every step of the way.
For our high-school-age athletes, we offer our own high-level residential academies alongside a select group of partner high school programmes we have built relationships with. Together these cover 9th through 12th grade, at one of the strongest levels available.
For university and college-age athletes, we offer our most robust and tailored options. Our placement services include traditional College Varsity Placement across NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA schools, as well as our own in-house semi-professional clubs, run in partnership with world-class universities across the U.S. and England.
Whether it is one path or a blend of everything we offer, the journey of the athletes we represent is never forced. It is designed, with options to suit their needs at each stage.

Our Players
"The residential environment with OCR taught me what it actually means to live as a full-time player. Being away from home, training daily, and being held accountable helped me grow fast. That experience prepared me well for earning my academy contract with the Switchbacks."
Dane Valenti

"OCR guided me through the transition from college soccer into the professional game. From my senior year at Hofstra to USL League One and now One Knoxville, they helped me understand what was needed to take that next step and be ready for it."

Owen Barnett

"Coming from India, I didn't just need a soccer pathway — I needed a plan that worked academically too. OCR understood that immediately. They mapped out the entire route for me: the right institution, the right programme, the right level of competition. I'm now playing NCAA soccer at a high level while pursuing my medical research degree. That combination felt impossible before I found Oliver Charles. They made it a reality."

Common Questions
How do college soccer scholarships work for international student-athletes?
U.S. colleges award athletic scholarships across NCAA Division I, II, NAIA and NJCAA programs, and many combine athletic money with academic scholarships and international awards. Full scholarships are rare; most offers are partial and are stacked with academic aid to bring the cost down. We build a realistic budget with every family before contacting coaches, so offers are compared on the real number.
What level of college soccer can an international player realistically reach?
The U.S. system has more than 1,500 men’s and women’s college soccer programs across NCAA D1, D2 and D3, NAIA and NJCAA. Players from academy, semi-professional and strong amateur backgrounds are placed every year. The first step is an honest evaluation of your level so that we target programs where you will play, develop and earn a degree, rather than a badge that sits you on a bench.
When should we start the college recruitment process?
Ideally 12 to 18 months before your intended start date. U.S. programs have two intakes, August (fall) and January (spring), and coaches build rosters well in advance. Starting early gives time for the evaluation, a strong highlight and profile package, coach outreach, campus visits, admissions, the NCAA or NAIA Eligibility Center and the F-1 visa. Later starts are still possible and we will tell you plainly what is achievable.
Do you help with NCAA eligibility and the F-1 student visa?
Yes. We manage Eligibility Center registration, academic transcript evaluation and amateurism questions, then guide the family through the I-20, SEVIS fee and F-1 visa interview once an offer is accepted. Visa support and arrival planning are part of the standard service, not an add-on.
What does Oliver Charles charge for student-athlete placement?
A one-time enrolment fee covers the evaluation, recruiting profile and placement roadmap, followed by a monthly retainer with a 12-month minimum that covers active recruitment, placement, enrolment and ongoing management, including any future transfer. Full details are on our placement pricing page.
Which countries do your student-athletes come from?
We have placed players from more than 40 countries, with long-standing partners in the United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, Japan, Saudi Arabia and across Africa and the Americas. UK footballers can read the dedicated UK football to U.S. college pathway.
